Shadic Anderson serves as the Junior Vice Commander for Veterans of Foreign Wars District 4 and is a United States Marine Corps veteran with over eight years of service in the infantry. During his time in uniform, he served with 1st Battalion, 6th Marines (Bravo Company), 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines (Fox Company), Chemical Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF), and 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines (Lima Company), gaining experience across operational, training, and specialized response environments. He currently serves as Senior Vice Commander of VFW Post 7243 in Hawaiian Gardens, California, and as a State Deputy Inspector for the VFW Department of California, supporting post accountability and organizational standards. Outside the VFW, Shadic is the President of the Student Veterans Organization at California State University, Long Beach, and was selected as a 2025–2026 SVA–VFW National Legislative Fellow, where he advocates for veterans at the federal level while pursuing future endeavors in law focused on continued public service and veteran advocacy.
